1. About us
This website, chicarchive.co.uk, is operated by Chic Archive Ltd ("Chic Archive", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. Our address is 65 London Road, Nantwich CW5 6LN, United Kingdom, and you can contact us at info@chicarchive.co.uk.

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, set out the terms on which you may use our website and buy from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for all activity on your account. The information you give us must be accurate, current and complete.

3. Our products
We sell authentic pre-owned luxury goods. Every item is individually inspected and authenticated by Chic Archive before sale, and its condition is graded and described on the listing using our grading scale (Pristine, Excellent, Very Good, Good or Fair). Because items are pre-owned, they may show signs of previous wear consistent with their grade. Please read each listing and review the photographs carefully.

We make every effort to show items accurately, but colours and finishes may look slightly different depending on your screen. Most items are one of a kind and are available in a quantity of one. Chic Archive is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of the brands we sell.

4. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when we email you to confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is no longer available, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

Items are sold for your own personal use and not for commercial resale.

5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. For orders delivered outside the UK, import duties and taxes may be charged by the destination country and are your responsibility.

We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay. Pay-later and instalment options, including Klarna and Shop Pay instalments, are provided by third parties and subject to their own terms and eligibility checks.

Discount codes are subject to their own terms, may only be used once per customer unless stated otherwise, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be applied after an order has been placed.

6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders the same or next working day, fully tracked. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Responsibility for an item passes to you when it is delivered to the address you gave us. Current delivery prices and times are listed in our FAQs.

7. Returns and refunds
You can cancel your order and return items within 14 days of receiving them, in line with our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

8. Selling, consignment, sourcing and repairs
If you ask us to buy, consign, part exchange, source or repair an item, any valuation, quote or offer we give is subject to inspecting the item in person and to the specific terms we agree with you at the time. No repair or restoration work through Chic Revive begins until you have approved the quote. By submitting an item to us, you confirm that you own it and have the right to sell or deal with it.

9. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, photographs, graphics and design, is owned by or licensed to Chic Archive and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print it for your own personal use, but you must not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission. Brand names and trade marks of the products we sell belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe those products.

10. Reviews and feedback
If you send us feedback or post a review, you allow us to use it to operate and promote our business. Reviews must be honest and must not be unlawful, offensive or misleading. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

11. Using our website
You must use our website lawfully. You must not attempt to interfere with its security or operation, introduce viruses or malicious code, or use automated tools to scrape or extract its content. We may suspend or restrict access to the website, or to your account, if you breach these Terms.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Chic Archive, and Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of those sales.

13. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods we sell.

14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier delays, strikes or severe weather. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay.

15. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
